Bounded Direction-Length Frameworks

A direction-length framework is a pair (G, p), where G = (V ;D,L) is a ‘mixed’ graph whose edges are labeled as ‘direction’ or ‘length’ edges, and p is a map from V to R for some d. The label of an edge uv represents a direction or length constraint between p(u) and p(v). Let G be obtained from G by adding, for each length edge e of G, a direction edge with the same end vertices as e. We show t...

Reasoning in Argumentation Frameworks of Bounded Clique-Width

Most computational problems in the area of abstract argumentation are intractable, thus identifying tractable fragments and developing efficient algorithms for such fragments are important objectives towards practically efficient argumentation systems. One approach to tractability is to view abstract argumentation frameworks (AFs) as directed graphs and bound certain graph parameters. In partic...

p-Lambda-bounded variation

A characteriation of continuity of the $p$-$Lambda$-variation function is given and the Helly's selection principle for $Lambda BV^{(p)}$ functions is established. A characterization of the inclusion of Waterman-Shiba classes into classes of functions with given integral modulus of continuity is given. A useful estimate on modulus of variation of functions of class $Lambda BV^{(p)}$ is found.

Bounded Input Bounded Predefined Control Bounded Output

The paper is an attempt to generalize a methodology [1; 93] and [2, 3; 95], which is similar to the bounded-input bounded-output (BIBO) method currently widely used [4-9] for the system stability studies. The presented in [1, 2] methodology allows decomposition of input space into bounded subspaces and defining for each subspace its bounding surface. It also defines a corresponding predefined c...

SELECTIVE GROUPOIDS AND FRAMEWORKS INDUCED BY FUZZY SUBSETS

In this paper, we show that every selective groupoid induced by a fuzzy subset is a pogroupoid, and we discuss several properties in quasi ordered sets by introducing the notion of a framework.
